During the preliminary examination, the laser procedure itself, and the follow-up check, I felt well taken care of at all times. Highly recommended! Everything was perfectly organized and went more than smoothly. I was picked up from the new airport in Istanbul and taken directly to the hotel. The Mercure Hotel in Altunizade/Istanbul was very clean and relatively modern. My two companions and I received a very spacious room with a beautiful view. On the day of the operation, a friendly gentleman picked me up from the hotel and took me to the clinic. There, Meyüsser welcomed me and explained everything to me in German. The doctor, Dr. Önder, speaks fluent English and was incredibly kind. The surgery only took 10 minutes, and after about 4 hours, I barely felt anything anymore. I even had the entire late afternoon and evening free to explore Istanbul—an absolutely breathtaking city! It was more than worth it! My vision was already at 100% the next day. This was the best decision I could have made. Mr. Weber was always available and responded immediately whenever I had questions. Overall, I can say I am more than satisfied and have already recommended Health Travels and Batigöz to my friends and family.

Good evening, my dear friends, I’d like to share my Istanbul trip with you. The main reason for the journey was to undergo laser eye surgery. We landed in Istanbul on Thursday evening, and the transfer organized by #HealthTravels was already included in the cost of the eye surgery. We were taken to the Mercure Hotel (two nights are included in the package). The next morning, we were picked up at 8:30 AM and driven to the Bati Göz Eye Clinic. The first impression was excellent—everything was clean and very modern. In the morning, all the preliminary examinations were conducted, and the doctor recommended the ReLEx SMILE 3D method because my cornea was too thin for LASIK. ReLEx SMILE is more expensive because it is the newest method and does not involve creating a flap. The surgery started at 2:30 PM. My boyfriend also underwent surgery, but he had the Wavefront Femto-LASIK. I was the first to go in. Along with us, other German patients were also getting treated. The surgery itself took a total of 10 minutes. I had to fixate on a green point, which disappeared within seconds. However, Meysun, our kind interpreter, calmly explained the entire process during the surgery, which was very reassuring. The removal of the lenticules was the most uncomfortable part of the procedure. Although my eyes were numbed with drops, I still found it very unpleasant. After the surgery, I was given dark protective glasses that I had to wear all day. Initially, I could barely open my eyes after the surgery. My boyfriend and all the other patients felt the same way. We were taken directly back to the hotel. Since both of us had undergone surgery, it was quite difficult for us to apply the antibiotic eye drops because we couldn’t keep our eyes open. After sleeping for four hours, we felt better and went out to grab something to eat. We didn’t have any more pain by then. The next morning, we were picked up at 9 AM and taken to the clinic for a check-up. Both of us achieved 100% vision—we were so happy. After the check-up, we changed our hotel and began our sightseeing trip around the city.

I am very satisfied with both the process and the results of the ReLEx SMILE surgery. Already the next day, I had excellent vision. Two days later, I also had two dental crowns done at the MedicaDent dental clinic through Health Travels. I am equally satisfied with the dental treatment. Dear Mr. Weber, We have returned to Germany, and I would like to share a brief feedback on our "health journey." Everything went precisely and perfectly—every pickup and appointment was punctual and carried out with perfection. Once again, many thanks to you and your team on-site in Istanbul. On the day of the surgery, we opted for room service in the evening, as my eyes were watering quite a lot, and I didn’t want to strain them unnecessarily. Even this was handled quickly and without any issues, with everything delivered to the room promptly—and the food tasted excellent. A special mention also goes to the transport service, which was always punctual and ensured we traveled safely from one place to another. Even immediately after the surgery, I could see relatively well—though still very blurry, the good results were already apparent. However, my expectations were exceeded the next morning. It is truly indescribable and provides a completely new quality of life to be able to see clearly without glasses or contact lenses. In the meantime, I have shared my experience with many friends and acquaintances and recommended that they consider laser eye surgery in Istanbul.
